Developed by Artdink and published by Square Enix, Triangle Strategy is a brand new tactical RPG that has just been released for Nintendo Switch. The game features the stunning HD-2D graphical style we saw in Octopath Traveler, and a sprawling story with various branching narrative paths. If you wonder how does the Quietus system work in Triangle Strategy, We have what you need. Here’s what you need to know.
Triangle Strategy Quiet Points Explained
Quietus Points, or QP as they are called in-game, should not be confused with TPs, which are consumed when your characters perform skills and abilities. Quietus skills are much more powerful than your regular TP skills, but their use in combat is very limited.
Use Quietus Skills
- During combat, bring up the menu by pressing the X button.
- Select the option that says Quietus.
- Choose the skill you want to use, then press A to confirm your selection.
You may also need to select which unit you want to use it on, depending on the Quietus skill of the triangle strategy.
Using these skills will take one QP, and since you start the game with only one QP at your disposal, that means you can use one skill per battle. You’ll need to be strategic about how and when to use it, as these skills are usually very powerful and could potentially turn things around in your favor.
Get more QP
Luckily, it’s possible to get more QP, as well as more Quietus skills as you progress through the game.
When you’re at your camp, talk to the Archibald, otherwise known as the Tradepost NPC before recruiting him to your roster, and choose the Tradepost option.
He will sell you new Quietus skills and QP slots in exchange for Kudos, which are earned by completing battles.
You’ll want to check in with him at the start of each chapter, as that’s usually when he’ll refresh his stock and have more items to sell.
That’s all you need to know about how skills work in Triangle Strategy Quietus. Be sure to search emagtrends for more tips and information on the game.
