Prince William teases Kate Middleton’s housekeeping skills in wild joke

Kate Middleton and Prince William tied the knot more than a decade ago, following their ceremony at Westminster Abbey, reports the Mirror.

However, that doesn’t mean they come without their fair share of jokes and personalities that hint at their competitive side.

Nodding to the Duchess of Cambridge’s cooking skills, the Duke of Cambridge once made a wild joke about his wife’s household skills.

Prince William dropped the joke in 2016, while the couple traveled to Norfolk for a fundraising gala dinner.

The dinner took place at Houghton Hall, three and a half miles from the couple’s 10-bedroom country mansion at Anmer Hall on the Queen’s Sandringham estate.

The event saw guests feast on a special five-course meal prepared by five Michelin-starred chefs.

And upon arriving at dinner, Kate suggested her husband was looking forward to taking a break from cooking.

Kate told the chefs: “William has to put up with my cooking most of the time.”

To which William joked, “That’s the reason I’m so skinny!”

Later today, the royal couple will face off again for household bragging rights on a royal outing.

The royal couple will be at the England-Wales Six Nations rugby match

Prince William is the boss of the Welsh Rugby Union, while last month Kate was unveiled as the new boss of the English Rugby Football Union.

During their trip to Twickenham, the royal couple will meet the presidents of the Welsh Rugby Union and the Rugby Football Union.

They will also speak to volunteers involved in RFU Community Play and members of the RFU Council.

The role of RFU boss was previously held by Prince Harry, who left the post vacant when he and Meghan Markle left the royal family.

Kate had been tipped to take on both jobs and confirmed her new duties in a video earlier this month, which showed spinning a rugby ball on her finger.

She later showed off her rugby skills and was even picked up in a lineout during a training session at Twickenham.

It even led her to earn the endorsement of senior royal and former rugby player Mike Tindall, who admitted she looked effortless during the session.
