Ciryl Gane recently proved that he is not only a great mixed martial artist, but also very practical on the football field.
At just 32 years old, many believe Ciryl Gane has a few more years left at the elite level of the UFC thanks to his insane skill set – as well as the fact that he fights in the heavyweight division. “Bon Gamin” may not have been able to win the title from Francis Ngannou at the start of the year, but aside from the last three rounds of this main event performance, he was solid during his brief period in the sport.
He’s clearly the type of guy who can do anything with ease and that certainly seems to be true for football, aka soccer for some of you.
In this video from a recent charity match, Gane shows the kind of movement we’ve come to expect watching him in the UFC.

Apparently Ciryl Gane has been in some sort of celebrity soccer game and for a heavyweight he can dribble quite nimbly. pic.twitter.com/QDoFeqYxto

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Gane is so good, but it also turns out that he’s been a football fan and player for many years.
He was spotted in a series of matches and he also took part in a Twitch stream featuring PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe in February.

Going forward, however, his focus will now shift to this September as the Ultimate Fighting Championship travels to Paris, France for the first time in its history.
The main event should see Gane take on compatriot Tai Tuivasa in what has the potential to be an incredibly fun duel at the top of the division. Gane will be the favorite, but given the pressure he will be under and the power Tuivasa wields, it may not be as easy as some fans think.
